Developer Opportunity in South Park

Now accepting applications for Requests for Qualification for 14th Ave S and S Henderson St development.

We are excited to announce a new opportunity for development partners to help create affordable rental housing in the South Park neighborhood. We are seeking qualified affordable housing developers to partner with us on the Henderson Street development project.

This project will transform two City-owned properties into a new mixed-use building. The vision is to create a vibrant community space with affordable apartments for families and commercial space for local services on the ground floor. Our goal is to provide safe, healthy homes for South Park residents to stay and invest in their community.

Who Should Apply?

We invite experienced affordable housing developers to submit their qualifications. We are looking for partners with a proven history of successfully completing projects such as:

  • New multi-family housing construction.
  • Mixed-use developments combining residential and commercial spaces.
  • Projects financed with sources like the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC).

We strongly encourage non-profits, community-based organizations, and Women and Minority-Owned Business (WMBE) developers to apply.
